LED CHINA 2014,, finally opened on 23rd February. While entering the hall, the glamorous images and videos from various types of LED displays attracted the eyes of visitors. As introduction, above 80% exhibitors of the event are LED display companies and related business enterprises. Most Chinese famous LED lighting and LED display manufactures attended this fair with their new products including Leyard,MRLED, Lantronicas, Lamp, Nation star, Konka, Ledman, Cedar Electronics etc.

As outdoor led display technology has been mature and the market has been gradually stable, indoor LED display has been paid by more attention. Compared with two years ago, LED display technology has developed to more creative. And many new novel products come to the market.

Undoubtedly,small pitch LED technology has been the highlight of the exhibition. Small pitch technology greatly upgrades the screen's definition. Many leading LED display supplier show their latest small pitch LED display products at site including Leyard with U1.9 K4 ultra large LED display, Unilumin with 1.0mm, 1.4mm and 1.6mm small pitch products. At present, the smallest pitch can reach to 1.0mm. Some stronger enterprises has begun to develop 0.9mm, 0.8mm and even smalller pitch LED display.

However, from viewpoint of industrialization and market acceptance, 1.0mm small pitch LED display is immature. Further more the cost of 1.0mm LED display is very high,due to the problem of material and technology. At present, the commonly accepted small pitch is U2.5 and 2.0mm. Although with mature technology U1.9 product is still in the primary stage for entering market.

Besides pixel pitch, we can understand that LED display industry also got new breakthrough in structure. The scree can be shaped into any desired forms.

At same time, Low brightness with high gray level is another important developed direction. Screens with higher color saturation can easier attract passengers‘ attention. But over brightness will easily cause visual fatigue. So how to reducing brightness while upgrade gray level is the key point for small pitch LED display technology.

Glasses - Free 3D LED display stunning debuts. Some industrial companies have successfully developed and launched glasses - free 3D LED TV products, such as Unilumin, MRLED etc. Because of high cost, this kind product has not been widely accepted by the market.

This display screen is 200×27m; total area is about 6000m2 and cost 20 million US dollars. It is the biggest display screen project in China up till now. This screen is made up of 20 million LED and 5 million pixels; it is “The Biggest in Asia” and “The Second Biggest in the World”. This project is planned to be accomplished by the end of September, 2010. In the Tenth National Games in Nanjing, 2014, various forms of LED screens are blossoming in radiant of splendor. They not only guaranteed various needs of the Games, but also added beautiful scenery to the Games.

The LED technology basis and level in china are relatively advanced. Major products and key technology maintained the same level with advanced level of the same industry in the whole world. But the technique is relatively backward. In terms of products standard, whole system design, reliability, manufacturing, testing measure, etc. we still have a long way to go to catch up with other countries.

Continuous improvement of LED devices and attribution and electronic technology provide a good foundation for deepening and improving technology.
